princess theme

This was my first try at making figures out of sugarpaste and I'm very happy with the results.  Of course I had some help from my "assistant/consultant", Jack, who helped me with the skirt and the birthday girl's name.  What would I do without you, Jack?  xxx
My client wanted a pretty princess (with tiara) in pink theme cake for her daughter's first birthday. She wanted flowers and butterflies and had requested for the name to be in a "fun" font.  Supplies in Malaysia are quite limited so Jack helped me make the name.  It's amazing how many ideas and tutorials one can get from the internet!  Boy, am I glad I'm not too IT illiterate :D

 

   

 

 

Valentine's

Due to the CNY coinciding with Valentine's I didn't have time to work on Valentine's cakes or cupcakes.

These are the only Valentine cupcakes I made especially for my son to give to his girlfriend :)

Cupcakes Galore!

People have been asking me how much my cupcakes cost. 

Cupcakes with basic designs involving only buttercream icing, like the ones above, cost RM50 per box.

Farewell to my son's college mate. Now, special requests like the one above which required sugar paste cost RM60. And to be clear, each box comes in one flavour. The one above is in two flavours because it was a special request from my son, and he has special privileges ;)

These are my CNY cupcakes. Because of the specially made flowers and mandarin they cost RM70 per box.

This was for a client's father who loves gardening.

 My lastest cartoon image cake. Would you have recognised him if I hadn't put "Ben 10" on the cake?

Random Designs

These four cakes were ordered by my good friend as gifts for friends. One of her friends later ordered two 1 kg butter cakes and 5 boxes CNY cupcakes! Thanks my good friend :)
